Vacancy Description : A ‘Building Compliance Officer’ is crucial in ensuring that a project moves forward smoothly by managing the interface between the in-house team, and regulatory bodies. They ensure that all the necessary permits, approvals, and compliance requirements are met while facilitating clear communication and resolving issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle


Vacancy Responsibilities : As a ‘Building Compliance Officer’ at Project Management & Compliance Department (PM&CD), Ritnand Balved Education Foundation , you will be assisting as the key point of contact between various stakeholders in a construction or architectural project. You will be responsible for facilitating communication, managing relationships, and ensuring that the project complies with all legal, regulatory, and design requirements. Below are the primary responsibilities of a ‘Building Compliance Officer’: • Assist with obtaining necessary building permits, and other regulatory approvals. This may include zoning approvals, building code compliance etc. Ensure that the architectural design and construction plans comply with local building codes, regulations, and zoning laws. • Act as the primary contact between the Project Management & Compliance Department (PM&CD) and local authorities, urban planning departments, government agencies and other stakeholders. • Ensure that the project progresses smoothly by managing interactions between the various teams involved (design, construction, engineering). • Assist in preparing required architectural drawings, plans, and documents for submission to regulatory bodies or other authorities. Monitor the progress of permit applications, and keep stakeholders informed about their status. Track the approval process for permits and licenses and ensure that the necessary documentation is submitted on time. • Monitor the project schedule to ensure that key milestones are being met. • Ensure that the project complies with environmental laws and sustainability guidelines. • Prepare regular reports detailing the status of regulatory approvals, project progress, and compliance issues and ensure the final handover documentation, including as-built drawings, is complete and submitted to relevant authorities.
